A Delegation from Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Visits An-Najah
On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah received a delegation from Doctors Without Borders (MSF). The delegation included Ms. Helle Poulsen, Project Coordinator in Nablus and Ms. Mariana Duarte, Mental Health Coordinator for Palestine.
The meeting focused on discussing means of mutual cooperation with regards to developing exchange programmes for students and staff in the field of clinical psychology between An-Najah and MSF as well as conducting joint development projects between the two parties.
Prof. Natsheh welcomed the delegation and praised the role of MSF to support mental health programmes in Palestine. The delegation was introduced to An-Najah's history, academic programmes, campuses, scientific centres, National Hospital. Prof. Natsheh also stressed the importance of offering joint health programmes in cooperation with MSF.
In turn, Ms. Poulsen talked about the mental health programmes supervised by MSF in Nablus and stressed the importance of developing academic cooperation with An-Najah.
