An-Najah Hosts the Open Learning Strategies in Palestine Meeting
As part of the Erasmus+ OpenMed project, a delegation from parenting European universities and institutions visited An-Najah to discuss possible means of mutual cooperation.
Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President of Academic Affairs briefed the delegation on An-Najah’s programmes, faculties, academic achievements and international joint projects.

OpenMed is an international cooperation project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme of the European Union during the period 15 October 2015 – 14 October 2018. It explores the adoption of strategies and channels that embrace the principles of openness and reusability within the context of South-Mediterranean universities.
The project will also offer the possibility to other universities from Morocco, Palestine, Egypt, Jordan or any other Southern Mediterranean country to join the action as community partners.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Adnan Melhem, President’s Assistant of Social Affairs, Dr. Ali Habayeb, Vice President Assistant for Academic Affairs and Dr. Saeda Affouneh, Director of the E-Learning Centre at An-Najah.
