The delegation included Dr Griffin Thompson, Director of the Office of Energy Transformation; Ms Mary Vargas, an economic officer who focuses on Gaza and Samar Abboushi, a Ramallah based consultant for ASU and the US Consulate.

Dr. Imad Ibrik, Director of the Energy Research Centre at An-Najah briefed the guests on the history and accomplishments as well as current projects and future goals of the centre and An-Najah as a whole with regards to renewable energy in Palestine.

The guests discussed areas of need in Palestine and possible future routes of collaboration.

To conclude the trip, Dr. Ibrik gave the delegation a tour of the PV solar panels recently installed on the roof of the Faculty of Pharmacy.
