A Delegation from the British Consulate-General Jerusalem Visits An-Najah
On Thursday, September 8th, 2016, a delegation from the British Consulate-General Jerusalem represented by Mr. Paul Huggins, HM Consul and Ms Suha Zeidan, Vice Consul visited An-Najah to meet with the University of London SOAS Students in the New Campus.
Both Mr. Huggins and Ms. Zeidan met with Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Raed Abdulraheem, Director of the Arabic for Non-Native Speakers Institute and Ms. Dalal Radwan and Ms. Christen Phanuef from the International Relations Office at the university.
The meeting aimed at developing means of academic cooperation between An-Najah and the consulate and discussing the academic situation of the students and the progress made on the programme.
Mr. Huggins also met with the 2015/ 2016 cohort of SOAS students to talk about the facilities the consulate offers in terms of entrance and residency.
He also talked about the challenges that might encounter them especially during their travels in vacations. He said that the consulate is ready to offer assistance for both British and non-British students.
At the end of the visit, Dr. El-Amleh offered the guests souvenirs.
