A Solidarity Delegation from Tunisia Visits An-Najah
On Sunday, September 4th, 2016, Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah received at his office a solidarity delegation from Tunisia accompanied with staff members from the Public Relations Department at Nablus Governorate and representatives from President Mahmoud Abbas Office to learn about An-Najah academic and research achievements.
The delegation was headed by Political Activist, Iman Suleiman and included a group of Tunisian activists in academia and media and businessmen representing different Tunisian sectors.
At the beginning, Prof. Natsheh thanked the Tunisian people and government for their solidarity and support to the Palestinian people especially in the academic field.
He stressed the importance of the academic cooperation An-Najah has with a number of Tunisian universities most important of which is the collaboration with the University of Tunis El-Manar where 10 of An-Najah candidates are sent to continue their graduate studies.
Prof. Natsheh also briefed the guests on An-Najah history, students and academic programmes and status.
In turn, the delegation expressed pride in An-Najah for its good reputation and prestigious status in the Arab World and discussed means of further cooperation with the university.
