Zajel Concludes a Training Workshop on Having Skills for a Career in PR
On Thursday, August 4th, 2016, the International Youth Exchange Programme (Zajel) of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah concluded a training workshop on having skills for a career in public relations at the Zafer Al-Masri Auditorium in the Old Campus.
The workshop aimed at training An-Najah students and graduates on events coordination, reflecting a positive image about the institution they work at, self marketing and adapting with digital and technological evolution.
The 25 hour workshop was over 5 days and tackled several topics on public relations as a strength point in the 21st century, addressing international public opinion, terminology science and the role of social media in developing public relations strategy.
It also tackled basics of e-mail etiquette, public speaking skills, airplane ticket online reservation and online hotels booking in addition to other important topics.
The workshop was moderated by a number of local and international trainers from the U.S, the U.K, Canada and France as well as members from the Public Relations Department at An-Najah.
It is worth mentioning that the workshop is part of a series of students’ initiatives in 2015.
