An-Najah Delegation Visits SESAME Centre in Jordan
On Wednesday, May 18th, 2016, a delegation from the Physics Department at An-Najah visited the International Research Centre (SESAME) in Amman, Jordan.
The visit aimed at discussing possible means of mutual cooperation between An-Najah and the centre where Dr. Khaled Toukan, Director-General of the SESAME and Chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission received a personal letter from Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah for developing academic relations.
An-Najah delegation attended a number of lectures on accelerator physics and its uses and synchrotron radiations and their applications. They also visited the accelerator physics to discuss its working principle and importance.

The delegation included Dr. Sami Jaber; Dr. Hadeel Abu Al-Rub and Dr. Ahmed Basalat; lecturers at the Physics Department in addition to a number of the university’s graduate and under-graduate students.
