An-Najah Receives a Delegation from PANAP Institute
Dr. Suleiman Al-Khalil, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at An-Najah received a delegation from PANAP institute in New Zealand headed by Dr. Merle Watt to discuss the environmental situation in Tulkarem especially in the field of pesticides and their side effects on the environment, public health, the soil and the food.
The delegation was introduced to the faculty’s role in serving Palestinian farmers and offering environmental protection to preserve the livestock.
The delegation also discussed possible means of mutual cooperation between the institute and An-Najah through a number of joint projects on organic agriculture.

The meeting was also attended by Engineer Issam Qassim, Director of Tulkarem Office; Mr. Yasser Abu Shanab, Public Administration Director for Environmental Protection and the Legal Advisor, Mr. Murad Madani.
