Mr. Chen Xingzhong Visits An-Najah
On Thursday, April 7th, 2016, Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah received at his office Mr. Chen Xingzhong, Ambassador of the Republic of China at the Palestinian Authority and his delegation. The delegation included Mr. Xu Fang, Economic and Commercial Attaché and Ms Pang Hao, Attaché at the Office of the People’s Republic of China to Palestine.
Prof. Natsheh welcomed the delegation and started talking about the university’s history, academic programmes and role in serving the local community. He also stated that the university aspires to build academic relations with the Republic of China and commended the Republic’s role in supporting the Palestinian people and their cause.
In turn, Mr. Xingzhong expressed his delight for being at An-Najah and stressed the importance of mutual cooperation between China and Palestine. He also discussed further means of academic cooperation with An-Najah through cultural exchange and joint programmes.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Xingzhong offered the university’s library a number of books on the Republic of China.

- The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mohammad El-Amleh, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dr. Sabri Naser, Vice President for Administrative Affairs at An-Najah.
- The delegation was also given a tour to the university’s New Campus.
