The Islamic Jurisprudence and Legislation Department introduces us to the significance of the Holy Quran and Hadith as they are considered the fountains of legislation and divine guidance. It is a very interesting major. The first sheikh of Jurisprudence once said: “if kings only knew the great pleasure we feel, they would've fought us with swords over it”.

Studying at the Faculty of Islamic Law at An-Najah National university was a turning point in my life, whether on a personal or social level. On the personal level, my study helped me to see things in life from different perspectives; it has deepened my understanding of Islam. As for the social level, the faculty offered me a great chance to meet new people and friends as it includes a qualified teaching staff of various ranks.
