The Department of Fiqh and Tashree' at An-najah ‎was founded in 1985. It was the first department ‎established in the Faculty of Islamic Law, as it is ‎significant for the Palestinian community to realize ‎the importance of Islamic jurisprudence, Islamic ‎issuing and legitimate judiciary. The department ‎provides BAs and MAs in Fiqh and Tashree'. The ‎department also provides a wide variety of courses ‎in order to produce graduates who are competent in ‎the basics of Islamic Fiqh, Fundamentals of ‎Religion, and Islamic Judiciary.
