An-Najah’s PhD in clinical laboratory science is designed for those interested in increasing practical and theoretical knowledge of clinical laboratory science, advancing in the profession, and positively affecting the current health care system.

The four-year program consists of 60 credit hours divided between advanced theory courses, a clinical residency, and a dissertation.

The core curriculum may be completed on a part-time basis. The residency component requires full-time attendance at a clinical affiliate near the student's location. You will undertake clinical or experimental research in one of the fields of clinical laboratory sciences with a supervisor overseeing your development and progress.

Graduates of this program will be prepared to serve as laboratory directors, assume positions as faculty or administrators in academia, as administrators in hospitals or industry, and as clinical researchers.
