Facilities
The Labs are located at the faculty of human medicine and health sciences.
- The central research lab is fully equipped with up-to date equipment including:
- Thermal cyclers
- Real-Time PCR
- All auxiliary equipment for molecular genetics.
- ELISA systems
- Cell culture facility
- Light and fluorescent microscopy.
- Medical Microbiology Labs
- An-Najah Cancer center
- The laboratories of An-Najah National University Hospital have the following labs that are fully equipped with state of the art machines:
- Hematology and coagulation lab
- Clinical Chemistry and immunoassays lab
- Immunology lab
- Flow cytometry lab
- Clinical Microbiology lab
- Blood bank and blood transfusion lab.
- Molecular genetics lab
Anatomic Pathology lab
Industry
The program is affiliated with An-Najah National University Hospital as well as the governmental hospitals for clinical rotations and the residency program.
Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning methods consist of lectures (advanced levels), Journal club, Case studies, assignments and small research projects
Coursework and Assessment
Course work is divided into 5 semesters. Assessment of the course work is done through having a midterm, a research project and a final exam.
