This program is designed for students who wish to earn M.Sc. degree in ‎Chemistry. This program serves as a stepping stone to jobs in industry, ‎graduate school, professional school, teaching careers, or for those who ‎would like to strengthen their chemistry knowledge. ‎

The student can select one of four main areas of research interest in the ‎Laboratory. Analytical, Physical, Organic or Inorganic, depending on his/her ‎interest.‎

The student may choose either the Thesis Track or the Comprehensive Exam ‎Track. The student  is granted a Master Degree in Chemistry after the ‎successful completion of the following requirements: ‎
Thesis Track

• ‎Finishing pre-requisite courses determined by the Department. 
• ‎Completing at least a total 36 credit hours with grade point average of not ‎less than 2.5 (75%).‎

Comprehensive Examination Track

• ‎Finishing pre-requisite courses determined by the Department. 
• ‎Completing a total of 36 credit hours with grade point average of not less ‎than 2.5 (75%).
