In a proud national achievement, Palestine secured first place in the Arab Scout Region’s Youth Scouting Award, competing against 42 projects from 11 Arab countries. The award was won through the project "Ana Al-Khair," presented by the Rover and Scout Team of An-Najah National University, under the Deanship of Student Affairs. This victory reflects the university's commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its pioneering role in promoting volunteerism and community service.
The team behind "Ana Al-Khair" included students: Shaker Zaben, Ezzedine Hussein, Fatina Al-Taher, Zeina Abu Kishk, Louay Sawan, and Majd Waked. Commenting on this achievement, Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, praised the performance of both teams, emphasizing that their success reflects the creativity and dedication of the university’s students. He also highlighted the importance of such accomplishments in reinforcing Palestine’s leading role in scouting and humanitarian efforts.
