The Student Association for Sustainable Development, operating under the Deanship of Student Affairs at An-Najah National University, successfully organized a recreational day at the Nursery of the Employees' Union. This initiative, held in Nablus, is part of the association’s ongoing efforts to foster community engagement and support the well-being of children, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

The event was spearheaded by the association’s president, Hilmi Tbailah, with active participation from the administrative body members and a dedicated group of community service students. The collective efforts of these individuals ensured that the children enjoyed a memorable day filled with enriching and enjoyable activities.

The recreational day featured a carefully curated selection of activities aimed at fostering creativity and joy among the children. Highlights included a face painting session, where children had the opportunity to select and enjoy designs of their choice, and a creative arts activity that involved distributing coloring drawings to stimulate their artistic abilities. To sustain their energy and enthusiasm throughout the day, snacks were provided, contributing to an atmosphere of vitality and happiness.

This initiative was met with enthusiasm and appreciation from the children, underscoring the positive impact of the association’s efforts. The event not only provided a joyful experience for the children but also exemplified the association’s commitment to promoting sustainable development within the community. By organizing such activities, the Student Association for Sustainable Development continues to play a pivotal role in advancing the university’s mission to enhance the well-being of the community and foster collaborative partnerships.
