Deanship of Student Affairs at An-Najah Organizes Information Session on Mathematical Science Students Society (MSSS)
On Wednesday March 2, 2022, the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Mathematical Science Students Society of the Faculty of Science (MSSS), organized an information session about MSSS, its vision, mission and objectives.
The event was attended by Dr. Raed Al-Koni, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Mr. Iyad Al-Aqra, Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Khaled Adarba, Supervisor of MSSS, student Saja Salama, President of MSSS, and a number of the academic staff as well as a large number of interested students.
In the opening speech, Mr. Aqra welcomed the attendees and expressed his happiness with the strong participation in the event. He noted how An-Najah has supported the foundation of student associations as they play an important role in enriching the university experience of students through congregation and discussion.
Student Salama talked about the Society’s mission, vision and objectives. She noted out that MSSS provides a range of social and cultural services and events to the University students. She added that MSSS aims at fostering collaboration and mentorship among students interested in mathematics or statistics. “It exists to help serve the needs of the University students and advise on student matters.” student Salam said. The event included an open discission with attendees to answer their questions.
