We at the Scholarships Unit / Center for Academic and Professional Development are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the DAAD In-Country Scholarship Programme for Postgraduate Studies for the year 2026.


This scholarship, offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is specifically designated for Palestinian students

  • M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence

  • M.Sc. Contemporary Public Relations

Scholarship Details:
The scholarship covers the following:

  • Tuition Fees (for the thesis-based Master’s track) per semester. The amount will be specified in the admission letter. Tuition fees are paid directly to the host university. In some cases, depending on the agreement with the funding body, the scholarship may not cover all fees and financial obligations listed in the university’s official fee structure.

  • Monthly Stipend of 500 Euros for the student.

  • Annual Study and Research Allowance of 460 Euros.

  • One-Time Printing Allowance of 400 Euros at the end of the scholarship period.

Important Notes:

  • The first monthly installment will be transferred to the student’s bank account as soon as possible after the scholarship begins, though the process may take some time.

  • No payments will be made before the start of the scholarship and the beginning of studies at the host university.

  • No additional benefits are provided beyond those mentioned here (e.g., family support or other allowances).

  • Scholarships are granted based on the available budget from the funding ministry.

Selection Process:

  • All applicants must submit their applications via the DAAD portal before the deadline.

  • DAAD will conduct a formal review to ensure applications are complete and valid, then forward them to the universities selected by the applicants.

  • The host university has the right to participate in the selection interviews and to raise objections.

  • DAAD retains the final decision-making authority regarding the selection of candidates.
