Call for applications to conduct research activities at CNR
The Scholarship Affairs Unit / Academic and Professional Development Center announces the availability of a special programme for the promotion of the International Cooperation to support scientists at risk or of conflict affected territories through the National Research Council (CNR), the largest public research institution in Italy.
To this purpose, the CNR will provide 20 scholarships for Lebanese and Palestinian graduates to conduct a period of research activity in one of the CNR Institutes, gathered in technical and scientific sectors, based in different parts of the Italian territory.
Research may concern the following scientific areas:
- Agrifood
- Bio-diversity
- Computer Science
- Cultural Heritage, Archaeology
- Earth and Marine Science
- Eco-systems
- Economics
- Engineering and Physics
- Environmental technologies
- Medicine, Neuroscience
- New Materials
- Renewable Energy
- Social Sciences
- Water Management
The scholarship grant consists of a monthly gross amount of 2.000 EUR, renewable up to a maximum of three months. Moreover, a contribution of 1.000 EUR for a round trip flight will be given to each winner of the selection.
