An-Najah Participates in Workshop on Strengthening Scientific Research System and its Outputs in Palestine
An-Najah National University, represented by Prof. Ismail Warad, Dean of Scientific Research, Prof. Abdel Nasser Nour, Head of the Accounting Department, Professor Sa'ed Zyoud, Head of the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and Dr. Imad Breik, Director of the International Grants and Projects Center, under the auspices of His Excellency the Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh, and in the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific (WISHEPP), participated in a workshop about strengthening the scientific research system and its outputs in Palestine that was held in Ramallah on September 11, 2022.
The workshop aimed at discussing the scientific research system development program in Palestine. The event included the participation of representatives of higher education institutions, scientific research institutions, and Arab and international research networks.
The workshop included several discussions on a variety of topics including intellectual property rights in scientific research, and the importance of providing financial support for research activities and pioneering projects in Palestine. The participants also engaged in an efficient dialogue about how to promote Palestine's participation and engagement in international programs and projects. Furthermore, a special attention has been given to the strategies of strengthening partnerships with national institutions and the private sector in Palestine.
