Recently released in Arcif Annual Report for the year 2021, An-Najah University Journal for Research - B (Humanities), issued by the University's Deanship of Scientific Research, has been ranked 61 out of 877 Journals counted by the Arab e-Marefa database (Arcif Impact Factor 2021), with an impact factor of 0,3827.


In the same context, An-Najah University Journal for Research - B (Humanities) has been ranked third in Humanities (Interdisciplinary) category out of 37 journals at the Arab world level. The journal was classified Q1, which is the highest rank.

The Impact Factor of Arcif Analytics is under the supervision of the Supervisory and Coordination Council, which consists of representatives from several Arab and international background. For instance, "The UNESCO Regional Office for Education in the Arab States in Beirut, the United Nations Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the Library of Alexandria, a knowledge database, the Society of International Specialized Libraries and others, as well as a scientific committee of experts and academics with a leading scientific reputation from several Arab countries and England.

It is worth mentioning that the Arab e-Marefa database "Knowledge" has collected ‎and studied more than 5100 scientific and research titles in various disciplines, ‎published in Arabic, English, French or multilingual, and is produced by more than ‎‎1400 scientific or research organizations in 20 Arab countries. (With the exception ‎of Djibouti and the Comoros because of the lack of data) 877 scientific journals only ‎succeeded in being certified in the 2021 report according to the criteria of the Arab ‎Citation & Impact Factor (Arcif). ‎

The publication criteria include the standards of international conventions for liberalization, the common technical and scientific basic standards, the timing and date of publication, and the general framework of editorial content requires that the Journal be specialized and subject to the initial evaluation of the content. As for the Arab or international diversity, this requires that the journal target the Arab community in its subjects and that there be a diversity between the shareholders' environment.

The Arab e-Marefa Database is a leading and integrated Arab database of full text & comprehensive metadata that contains around (1,500,000) records including: (academic journals, articles, theses and dissertations, e-books & book reviews, statistical reports, research abstracts, conference proceedings) and covering all disciplines & fields. It has signed publishing agreements with 400 entities in 20 countries in the Arab World to incorporate their knowledge products in the Database. Also, it contains 22 specialized databases besides offering customized databanks for any institution, library or organization.
