Two Researchers from An-Najah University Publish a Research Paper in Renewable Energy Journal

Researchers Ramez Abdallah, and Adel Juaidi from the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering & Information Technology at An-Najah National University, published a research paper in Renewable Energy, an international journal with an impact factor of.6.3. It seeks to promote and disseminate knowledge on the various topics and technologies of renewable energy systems and components. The journal aims to serve researchers, engineers, economists, manufacturers, NGOs, associations and societies to help them keep abreast of new developments in their specialist fields and to apply alternative energy solutions to current practices.
The research team included Eng. Abdallah and Dr. Juaidi from the University, and Dr. Tareq Salameh, Dr. Muhammad Tawalbeh, and Dr. Abdul-Kadir Hamid from the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Sharjah.
Titled:" A novel three-dimensional numerical model for PV/T water system in hot climate region", the research paper highlights the thermal performance of a PV/T module was evaluated by a novel numerical model for a hot climate region, the computational time was reduced by applying different thermal boundary conditions on both sides of the PV/T model, three-dimensional temperature distribution of the PV/T module was presented, and the thermal energy was validated using different values of mass flow rates.
