An-Najah National University proudly celebrates the exceptional achievements of its graduates in the Arab world. Dr. Ahmed Yassin and Dr. Loay Aker, alumni of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, have claimed the first and second places, respectively, in the prestigious Arab Board - Radiology and Medical Imaging Specialization.


The Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS), established in 1978 by the Council of Ministers of Health of the Arab League, is a non-profit organization with a mission to enhance healthcare services in Arab countries by elevating the scientific standards of clinical and health practices. ABHS supports professional development and the implementation of international standards in educational and training programs across various health specialties.

The Arab Board Certificate holds significant recognition, being equivalent to the Palestinian Board and regarded as one of the highest academic accolades. Holders of this certificate are qualified to practice their profession in various Arab countries, having undergone rigorous efforts, preparation, and study.

Dr. Ahmed Lotfi Yassin, a graduate of An-Najah University's Faculty of Medicine in 2014, has been a dedicated contributor to medical research and teaching after completing his internship year. Dr. Loay Aker, who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah University in 2015, has also demonstrated outstanding dedication to his field.

Both physicians, Dr. Yassin and Dr. Aker, pursued their specialization in radiology at Hamad Medical Hospital in Qatar, a testament to their commitment to advancing their expertise.
