An-Najah Student Zeina Fares Receives Prestigious Award for Outstanding Research in Economics and Business
An-Najah National University proudly announces that Zeina Suhail Fares, a student from the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences - Department of Accounting, has been honored with the prestigious award for the best research in the economics and business sector. This recognition was bestowed upon her at the highly acclaimed fifth student research conference organized by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Al-Quds University, Abu Dis, on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
The event, held in collaboration with Al-Quds Bard College and under the patronage of University President Prof. Imad Abu Kishk, witnessed the participation of student researchers from Palestinian and regional universities, as well as a number of public secondary schools.
Fares emerged victorious for her exceptional research derived from her graduation project titled "The Determinants of Solvency on Insurance Companies Listed on Palestine Exchange," which was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Abdel Nasser Nour, Head of the Accounting Department at An-Najah University.
The conference featured a diverse range of presentations, including 49 refereed papers and research posters, presented in both face-to-face and virtual sessions. These contributions spanned across various scientific, natural, social, and human fields, showcasing the remarkable talent and dedication of the participating students.
Expressing his delight, Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, President of An-Najah, extended his heartfelt congratulations to Zeina Fares for her outstanding achievement.
