An-Najah Student Majdolina Bishawi Represents the University at Warsaw Exchange Program

Majdolina Bishawi, an English Language and Literature student with a minor in Translation at An-Najah National University, participated in a prestigious exchange program at the University of Warsaw in Poland.
Reflecting on her experience, Majdolina shared that studying abroad was a transformative journey that improved her adaptability, independence, and problem-solving skills. Immersing herself in a new culture and academic environment, she overcame challenges such as language barriers and adjusting to different teaching methods.
“This experience not only broadened my perspective but also strengthened my confidence in academic discussions and cross-cultural communication,” Majdolina noted. “It helped me develop critical thinking skills and refine my passion for literature and poetry.”
During her time in Warsaw, she engaged in university activities, including a campus tour, cultural events, and visits to historical sites. She also volunteered in an Arabic media course, supporting international students in understanding Arabic language and culture.
Majdolina expressed her gratitude to An-Najah University and the exchange program coordinators for making this opportunity possible. She also thanked her family and friends for their unwavering support.

Majdolina described her time in Warsaw as unforgettable, where she developed a deep appreciation for Eastern European culture and hopes to return in the future for her postgraduate studies. The experience also inspired her to start writing her own novel.
