Baha’a Al-Din Dweikat, an Industrial Engineering student at An-Najah National University, secured an internship at United Motor Trade Company (UMT) through the Practical Training Center, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in industrial engineering.

Reflecting on his journey, Baha’a described the internship as a pivotal step in his academic and professional growth. He had the opportunity to work across multiple departments, gaining insight into workflow organization and operational integration. This experience allowed him to apply key industrial engineering principles, such as process optimization, resource management, and quality assurance, in a real-world setting.

“This internship gave me a deeper understanding of teamwork and structured operations in achieving efficiency and excellence,” Baha’a noted. “It not only enriched my academic knowledge but also strengthened my connection to its practical applications.”

He expressed his gratitude to UMT for their guidance and support throughout his training. He also thanked the University and the Center for facilitating this valuable opportunity and for helping students bridge the gap between academia and industry.

Encouraging his peers to seek similar experiences, Baha’a emphasized that internships are essential in preparing students for the job market. “Industrial engineering is more than just a field of study. It is a pathway to the future, and this internship was a significant step in that journey,” he concluded.
