This achievement was earned through her innovative project “Smart Glove”, designed to serve the deaf and mute community. The project aims to facilitate communication with society through advanced technological solutions in the healthcare sector, contributing to social inclusion and improving the quality of health services.

The competition was held in Ramallah under the supervision of the Palestinian Information Technology Association (PITA), and was sponsored by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Bank of Palestine, and the Ministry of Digital Economy, with the participation of several official figures.

Commenting on the achievement, Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, President of An-Najah National University, emphasized that this success reflects the University’s commitment to supporting students’ entrepreneurial initiatives and providing an enabling academic environment for nurturing creative ideas. He highlighted the role of specialized research centers and Najah Innovation Park in transforming innovative ideas into practical, community-oriented projects.

This distinction comes as part of the University’s broader policy of encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, offering academic supervision, technical support, and entrepreneurial guidance to students, thereby strengthening research culture and contributing to the development of the health and development sectors in Palestine.

This achievement represents a qualitative addition to An-Najah National University’s record of accomplishments and reaffirms the competence of its students and their ability to compete at the national level and translate academic knowledge into practical solutions that serve diverse segments of society.
