The Department of Capacity Building and Project Development at An-Najah University’s Scientific Centers organized an intensive training day to enhance the project proposal writing skills of faculty members from the Faculty of Business and Communication. The initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to increase its participation in competitive funding opportunities and to support its objectives in advancing education and scientific research.


Seventeen faculty members took part in the training, which emphasized the significance of research and development projects in bolstering the university’s standing both locally and internationally.

Prof. Munqeth Shtayyeh, Director of Scientific Centers, inaugurated the course by highlighting the critical role these centers play in promoting scientific research and contributing to the university's broader mission of community service and educational advancement. He also affirmed the Project Development Department’s commitment to supporting the Faculty of Business and Communication in identifying and applying for funding opportunities.

Dr. Ra'fat Jallad, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Communication, reiterated the faculty’s eagerness to capitalize on funding opportunities by actively responding to calls for both international and local projects. He emphasized the faculty’s readiness to collaborate on initiatives that align with the university’s strategic goals.

The training session was led by Dr. Faten Akkawi, Director of the Capacity Building and Project Development Department. This event is part of a series of similar trainings aimed at empowering various faculties across the university to generate project proposals that align with the university’s developmental objectives.

This initiative reflects An-Najah National University’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and enhancing its contribution to the field of scientific research.
