An-Najah's Energy Research Center: Expanding Electricity Access to Bedouins of Wadi Al-Malih

The Energy Research Center at An-Najah National University concluded a project that aimed to expand electricity access to Bedouins of Wadi Al-Malih and provide them with modern energy services to strengthen the resilience of poor families there.
Through this project, twenty solar panels/ solar energy systems have been installed to increase electricity access via solar photovoltaic systems in Wadi Al-Malih, Al-Aghwar.
The Energy Research Center held a number of workshops about how do solar panels work and how to maintain and take care of the solar panel system for the project beneficiaries.
It is worth mentioning that during the last 15 years, the ERC implemented a large number of projects that seek to serve the local community. Since 2007, the ERC has provided a large number of poor families in remote areas with solar energy systems.
