An-Najah Participates in the European School Sports Day
As part of its commitment to strengthening community partnerships, An-Najah National University took part in the European School Sports Day organized by the British Scientific School. The event was held under the direct supervision of the Department of Sports Sciences at An-Najah, represented by Dr. Randa Qutob, Head of the Department, and Dr. Suleiman Amad, Coordinator of Sports Facilities, with the active participation of students majoring in Physical Education.
An-Najah’s participation reflected its leading role in promoting educational and sports initiatives that help reduce students’ psychological stress and foster teamwork, collaboration, and positive engagement through physical activity.
Mr. Tamer Ghazal, Principal of the British Scientific School, expressed his pride in the fruitful collaboration with An-Najah University, noting that this partnership added great value to the event’s success and raised awareness of the importance of school sports.
Meanwhile, Ms. Shireen At’out, Head of Student Activities, highlighted that the event aligns with the school’s vision of creating an inclusive educational environment that supports both the physical and mental well-being of students, praising the university’s contribution in providing academic and practical expertise to guide and enrich such activities.
