Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Prof. Rami Al-Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University Hospital, An-Najah National University inaugurated the TEDI-Najah Expo on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The expo is the largest event of its kind organized by the University at the start of the new academic year, dedicated to showcasing students’ graduation projects from across faculties and disciplines, while also providing a platform for Palestinian companies and institutions to present their products and services. The event aims to foster collaboration, build partnerships, and create employment opportunities for graduates.


The opening ceremony was attended by Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, President of the University, Governor Ghassan Daghlas of Nablus, alongside deans, faculty and administrative staff, representatives of official and national institutions, a number of Palestinian companies, and a large audience of students and community members.

The ceremony was moderated by Mr. Raed Debiy, President's Assistant for Community Affairs, who welcomed the participants and emphasized that the expo reflects the University’s vision of integrating academic creativity with community entrepreneurship. He highlighted the role of the event in providing students and graduates with opportunities to showcase their potential and connect with civil society and the private sector, affirming An-Najah’s mission as an incubator of innovation and a builder of a brighter future for Palestinian youth.

In his remarks, Dr. Maen Ishtaiwi, Chair of the Organizing Committee, stressed that the expo provides an interactive space linking students and alumni with both the public and private sectors. He noted that the event embodies the fruits of years of effort and perseverance, presenting a distinguished selection of graduation projects that demonstrate high levels of competence, innovation, and the ability to transform academic knowledge into practical solutions that meet labor market needs and advance the Sustainable Development Goals. He further underlined the importance of national companies and supporting institutions in nurturing young talent and investing in their capacities, describing the event as a true meeting point for ideas, skills, and opportunities for collaboration, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, President of the University, welcomed the guests and affirmed that the expo represents a new milestone in the University’s pursuit of leadership, aiming to enhance graduate employability and competitiveness in local, regional, and international labor markets. He emphasized that the University has placed a strategic priority on developing students’ and graduates’ skills to match the demands of future technologies, through the introduction of professional micro-credential programs, fostering a supportive environment for entrepreneurial projects, and enabling opportunities for postgraduate studies and international exchanges. He added that the expo showcases graduation projects across a wide range of disciplines, encouraging companies and institutions to adopt promising initiatives and embrace young talents as active partners in advancing innovation and development.

In his address, Governor Daghlas praised An-Najah University’s pioneering role in serving Palestinian society, describing the expo as a testament to the University’s status as an incubator of creativity and a cornerstone in driving national development and economic growth.

The opening also featured a documentary film highlighting the preparation process for the expo, which is now established as an annual flagship platform that brings together student creativity and technological innovation, strengthening the University’s presence as a key partner in community service and national economic development.

Following the inauguration, attendees toured the exhibition’s various sections, viewing a wide range of graduation projects presented by students. The projects showcased innovative solutions and ideas addressing diverse sectors, reflecting exceptional creativity and skill. Participants also commended the contribution of national companies and institutions, whose engagement enriched the expo and provided opportunities for networking, partnerships, and career development.

The expo will continue for three days, from September 16–18, 2025, with the participation of over 50 national companies and institutions, alongside more than 150 student graduation projects offering innovative solutions and ideas in the fields of health, technology, development, and innovation.
