Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and Palestinian Government Ministers Visit An-Najah National University




An-Najah National University proudly hosted His Excellency the Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, along with a distinguished ministerial delegation, and His Excellency Ghassan Douglas, Governor of Nablus Governorate.
The delegation was cordially received by Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, University President Prof. Abdel Nasser Zaid, deputies, assistants, the council of deans, members of the administrative and academic staff, and students.
His Excellency Prof. Hamdallah opened the visit by welcoming the Prime Minister and his delegation, emphasizing the crucial collaboration between the university and the government to advance the higher education sector in Palestine.
During the visit, Prof. Hamdallah provided an overview of the university’s continuous achievements, including significant investments in state-of-the-art laboratory technology and educational tools, the attainment of international accreditations for various academic programs, leading positions in international rankings, and the exceptional performance of its graduates. He also highlighted the ongoing expansion of An-Najah National University Hospital to increase its capacity and service provision.
Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa expressed his profound appreciation to the university’s Board of Trustees and administration for their unwavering efforts and continuous enhancement of higher education services for students. He lauded An-Najah's accomplishments and its esteemed reputation both locally and regionally. Dr. Mustafa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to sustained cooperation with the university to benefit students and strengthen the higher education sector in Palestine.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the university’s media center, where the Prime Minister and his delegation engaged with a large number of students, addressing their inquiries and contributions. The Prime Minister and accompanying ministers responded to questions, underscoring the pivotal role of youth and the necessity of creating an environment conducive to their ongoing excellence and innovation.
