AIN's First Winter Camp




The Arab Innovation Network (AIN) – An-Najah branch – celebrated the completion of its first winter camp titled: “AIN Discovery Camp” in a closing ceremony held at the Martyr Salah Khalaf Center in Fara. The camp included theatrical and practical training for participating students of debate track and scientific research track.
Funded by the University and the Higher Council of Youth and Sports, the three day training included 60 students from different academic departments.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Yahya Saleh, Najah Business Innovation and Partnership Center (NaBIC) Director and supervisor of AIN at An-Najah University, Dr. Tamer Khatib, Director of An-Najah Company for Consultancy and Technical Studies, Dr. Manar Qamhiyeh, teaching assistant at the Computer Engineering Department, Ms. Shatha Arafat, lecturer at the Accounting Department, Ms. Anwar Abdu, trainer of the debate track, and participating students.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Saleh pointed out that this camp is part of the University’s strategy to promote creativity and innovation. He also emphasized on the importance of NaBIC role in supporting university students, building their characters, and developing their startup ideas. In addition, Dr. Saleh thanked the volunteers of AIN and Salah Khalaf Center crew for their efforts throughout the camp days.
The camp focused on producing debaters who can create a sentient, interlocutor generation who can take action. It also focused on presenting practical application guidelines in scientific research and offering an overview of its importance, tools, results, and how to use LaTeX Language.
Mohammad Shraim, AIN Chairman said that the camp is part of AIN future strategic plan that includes students of other disciplines and covers topics on education, community service and startups evolvement.
