An-Najah University Hosts the Japanese Expert and Researcher, Katsumi Kurita
The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at An-Najah University hosted Dr. Katsumi Kurita, Associate Professor at Toyohashi University of Technology, and President of Kurita Marketing & Management Corporation in Japan.
Dr. Kurita was invited by An-Najah University to share his rich experience in planning, making design concept, construction, marketing work and operation management of the various EZs and IPs in the world with An-Najah's Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology staff. The visit was coordinated by Eng. Iyad Aldumaidi from Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA.
The Japanese expert gave a lecture on the Economic Zone (EZ) and/or Industrial Park (IP) for the sake of the countries who wish to plan or develop EZ and/or IP as tool of economic growth of the country.
The lecture covered several topics most important of which is the economic impact of the industrial zones.
The guest shared his experience in supporting many economic zones and industrial parks in South East Asia, Central Asia (Uzbekistan), Arab Countries (Saudi Arabia, Oman), Ukraine, and Rumania.
