An-Najah Competency Development Unit Organizes Volunteer Interviews

On Thursday, August 22nd 2019, the Competency Development Unit at An-Najah University in collaboration with Youth Peer Education Network (Y-PEER) and Sharek Youth Forum, held volunteer interviews, which were held at the University's Faculty of Science to recruit student volunteers from An-Najah University at the Y-Peer Network.
60 students from An-Najah University were interviewed by representatives from the Y-Peer Network, Sharek Youth Forum and the Competency Development Unit.
The goal of this activity is to build a network of student volunteers from the University and train them to be more effective leaders. Chosen volunteers will be trained to effectively implement workshops, training courses and initiatives with the aim of raising awareness among university and school students about adolescent sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and HIV prevention worldwide as well as many other topics.
The youth peer education network of organizations and institutions has been pioneered by UNFPA in 2002. It works in the field of sexual and reproductive health in 52 countries throughout the world. It aims to strengthen and spread high quality peer-to-peer education in the field of adolescent sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and HIV prevention worldwide.
