The event took place at the Hikmat Al-Masri Amphitheater in the New Campus and was attended by members of An-Najah Board of Trustees, Professor Maher Natsheh, the university vice presidents and assistants, faculty deans, heads of departments and a number of An-Najah’s administrative and academic bodies.

In his speech, Prof. Natsheh welcomed the attendees and said that An-Najah National University has been a beacon of excellence and innovation and overcomes the political and financial difficulties it always encounters.

He said that the university focuses on producing competencies in different fields and sets strategic plans in advance to guarantee high quality education. He clarified that An-Najah is the top university in Palestine, 21st in the Arab World and among top universities in the world and has obtained the ABET Accreditation for 9 engineering programmes.

Prof. Natsheh extended his greetings to the Palestinian government headed by President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Prof. Rami Hamdallah where he thanked them for supporting the university.  Prof. Natsheh went on to express his gratitude to the Board of Trustees on their efforts, thanking as well the University staff, graduation committee and the deans and heads of departments that have contributed to serving An-Najah.

He then congratulated the graduates and their parents, and wished them a bright future and a life filled with achievements.

Finally, Prof. Natsheh, the vice presidents and president’s assistants awarded the graduates with their certificates.
