Industry

The bachelor of pharmacy program serves the Palestinian pharmaceutical industry, the cosmetic industry, and related industries. The program provides the student with the required knowledge to accurately perform different tasks in various manufacturing units such as:

• Production unit
• Quality control unit
• Quality assurance unit
• Registration unit
• Promotion and marketing unit

Teaching and Learning

Various methods of teaching and learning are used in the program depending on the specific course according to approved intended learning outcomes for each course. E-learning, blended learning recorded lectures are among the modern teaching methods used in the program.

Coursework and Assessment

The course policies include class attendance and participation; as student must attend at least 75% of the lectures. In most courses, three written exams are done in each course; that are first, second and final exams. Final exam has the largest bulk in the grading assessment method. In addition, rubric evaluation for seminars and review presentations is authorized in course grading. Furthermore, participation in online discussion (forum and online quizzes) is a part of course evaluation in most courses in the program
