This program is made up of two components: major French and minor English. The Department of French, which offers the program, is constantly seeking development through adding new subjects, such is this minor in English, to train professional translators in more than one foreign language, as well as to train teachers of French qualified for the job market. The introduction of English as a second foreign language adds new skills to students and enables them to compete in the market place.
The French Department’s aim is to produce graduates who are innovative, competent, and confident users of French and English, who would contribute effectively to their community.
