Industry

The programme aims at improving academic relations with the local community and offering services to the industry sector in terms of energy conservation and management and renewable energy resources.
The Energy and Environmental Engineering Department has strong relations with the Palestinian Energy And Natural Resources Authority as the latest offers the university students appropriate training.

 

Teaching and Learning

All classical and modern teaching methods are applied in the program. These methods include and not limited to providing students with well-known and highly ranked international textbooks, related references, scientific publications, summary notes, software’s, related videos, and websites. In addition, for lectures information and data demonstration, white board and LCD are used.

 

Coursework and Assessment

Generally, the assessment criteria is based on the students marks of first, second, and final exams. Moreover, some or all of the following criteria are adopted based on the professor judgment and experience: quizzes, homework, projects, and presentations.  
The grading system is clear for students. This is highlighted to students at each course outline or course description. In general, there are first, second, and final exams. The total mark for each course is 100. The student should have at least 60 point to pass. The university has alphabetical grading system, which reflects the degrees where D- and E represent failure, while A, B, C and D represent the success.  Where ( A: Excellent, B: very good, C: good and D accepted).
