Facilities
Students of this program are able to use the various software packages installed at the department labs such as: Visual Studio, Oracle, Cad Software and Network Simulators. They use all the laboratories of the Computer Engineering Departments and some of the computer labs in the electrical engineering department and the faculty workshop, libraries and other facilities.
Industry
The program has a strong relation with the industry. We periodically receive experts from local companies who give invited talks inside and outside the courses lectures. The local companies and the department closely coordinate the process of hiring of the department graduates through special hiring visits and invited interview appointments. An important joint activity is the internship period in which the students spend 2 months working in a real company. Another important chance for cooperation is the joint graduation projects which are usually held out in cooperation with local industrial companies.
Teaching and Learning
Teaching and learning methods adopted in this program include face-to-face lectures, seminars, projects, student presentations and home works. All of these include modern technology facilities such as modern software, presentation software and overhead projectors, etc.
Coursework and Assessment
Assessment criteria includes: Exams (first, second and final), quizzes, course projects, home works and presentations.
