Career Opportunities
This is the most important part of chemical engineering program. We can say that the local private sector and public sector start to understand what the chemical engineers, so we have work opportunities in public sector such as Civil Defense, the Criminal laboratories and environmental treatment plants while they have good opportunities in the five pharmaceutical plants. They find works at surface coating plants, and detergent manufacturing plants. Ten percent of our graduates have post-graduation.
The department have created “Chemical Engineering Alumni group" to follow up their career life. Therefore, we are in direct contact with more than 80% of our graduates. Work advertisements are issued frequently. The group members do their best to help each other. They are lot of work opportunities in the gulf region. The male engineers benefit more on this, this is because the females got married and they seek a work place close to their residents, which is difficult to provide, even at industrial countries.

Chemical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET,
In 2006, the program was evaluated with AQAC, (AQAC: The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission), an autonomous body under the umbrella of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education in 2006.
