The PhD program in Teaching and Learning is considered a branch of educational sciences and mixes theory with experiential learning to give graduate students a solid understanding of the wider context of learning and teaching. Students admitted to the program will be introduced to a variety of topics including teacher's role and performance in the teaching and learning process as well as his professional development in the age of the internet.

The students will be also introduced to the recent educational practices and strategies needed to prepare them for an influential position in the labour market. In addition, the program aims to strengthen educational capacities and skills of students according to the latest psychological and pedagogical studies on multimedia technologies in education. Finally, the program will also develop students' knowledge, understanding and experience in different educational contexts, gaining the qualifications to produce and prepare a competent workforce that has the required qualifications and necessary background needed in the field.
