I was one of the students of the chemistry Ph. D program at An-Najah National University in the period 1998 – 2006. I consider myself very lucky to have the chance to deal with such highly professional and highly motivated professors. They helped me to create an independent personality, ever ready to be enrolled in a team work. I had the opportunity to give many presentations during the courses, and to express my own thoughts and ideas during my research and thesis preparation. I think that the grading and evaluation criteria were very appropriate for both exams and class activities. Despite the limited resources, I think that the program was successful in achieving the logo of our university; We Challenge The Present To Make The Future.

I was lucky to obtain my Ph.D. degree from An-Najah National University. I did not regret joining the Ph.D. program for a moment. I was lucky to be able to study and maintain my position as a school teacher. During my studies, I was given the opportunity to give lecturers as a teaching assistant which could help me secure some financial assistance to cover my tuition fees and living expenses in addition to obtaining academic experience. I was able to publish scientific papers in high-level and reputable scientific journals and high impact factor. After graduation, I contested for a faculty position at An-Najah National University and I was short-listed and finally selected for the position among other contestants. During my studies at An-Najah I acquired a strong scientific background which enabled me to continue different research projects and publish articles in highly impacted peer reviewed journals. I also got the opportunity to collaborate with other laboratories in Europe and the Middle East
