" In-depth Study of Banking Law and Financial Supervision. This course focuses on the legal regulation of monetary authority, its establishment, jurisdiction, duties, policies, and its relationship with banks. It also covers the legislation governing banks in Palestine, their establishment, legal functions, nature, as well as financial and administrative supervision. Furthermore, it examines specialized units, their legal regulation, characteristics, and jurisdictions. "

" Capital Market Authority Law. The course focuses on studying the legal framework of the Capital Market Authority in terms of its objectives, duties, and authorities in overseeing the financial sector, insurance companies, leasing, and real estate mortgage. It also covers regulation, supervision, and oversight of non-banking financial institutions, disclosure of financial data, and the financial sector, along with examining the regulations and mechanisms the Authority employs to monitor the sectors within its jurisdiction. It also examines the most important contracts related to investment and finance, such as partnership agreements, leasing, real estate and insurance mortgages, concessions, licenses, and others. The course delves into the fundamental characteristics and advantages of Islamic investment and finance, distinguished by their avoidance of interest and usury. It elucidates the concept of usury and the foundational principles governing its contracts, alongside an exploration of international institutions tasked with establishing standards for Islamic finance and investment. Furthermore, it underscores the significance of legislative objectives in the financial industry. Additionally, the course examines various Islamic finance formulas, including Mudarabah (profit-sharing), Musharakah (partnership), Ijarah (leasing), Ijarah Muntahia Bittamleek (leasing with eventual ownership), Salam (forward sale), Istisna'a (manufacturing), and Muzara'ah (farming). It also analyzes the Palestinian financial market in comparison to Arab and global markets, with particular attention given to the contracts traded within these markets. It also sheds light on the assurances, incentives, and exemptions extended to investors, as well as the pivotal role played by investment promotion bodies in bolstering local investment and attracting foreign capital through the creation of conducive investment environments. Furthermore, the course delves into strategies for resolving disputes arising from investment contracts especially in the context of foreign investment. It also covers the management, composition, and assessment of investment portfolios, emphasizing the crucial role that asset allocation within these portfolios plays in mitigating investment risks and allocating funds across various economic sectors. This is done within the framework of Palestinian investment encouragement laws and their revisions, alongside the guidelines governing the authorization of client portfolio management by securities firms. This course focuses on studying the objectives and functions of the General Authority for Industrial Cities and Free Zones, as well as the investment window within industrial cities and free industrial zones. It examines the mechanism of forming their boards of directors and their financial resources. The legal steps followed by the authority to establish or develop an industrial city and free industrial zones are discussed, along with an examination of the regulations imposed on the entry and exit of goods in the free industrial zone. Furthermore, the course addresses the rights and responsibilities of licensed projects and the repercussions for non-compliance with legal requirements. " Practical Training. This course places emphasis on students participating in a practical training program focused on the subjects covered in the academic curriculum within a relevant institution. These institutions may include the Palestine Stock Exchange, Ministry of National Economy, Palestinian Monetary Authority, Palestine Capital Market Authority, Investment Promotion Authority and Industrial Cities, Palestinian Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Chambers of Commerce and Industry, banks, financial brokerage firms, among others. During the course, students are expected to prepare a specialized scientific research on the training field, which will serve as the nucleus of their master's thesis. "
