Clinical Research program aims to produce a cadre of experts who will build a solid foundation in clinical research and strong clinical studies in Palestine. This will be achieved through practical training in developing clinical research manuscripts and proposals, critical assessment for medical research, practical training in statistical programs using data sets. Mentoring, career development and academic training will enable students to play important leadership roles and turn data into actionable analytics that can lead to better healthcare services. This program seeks to produce medical, professional and academic competencies that are capable of applying scientific research in clinical fields.

These may be used for prevention, treatment, diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease. It is important to link clinical research with clinical practice. In clinical practice, established treatments are used, while in clinical research, evidence is collected to establish a treatment.
