Major General Bilal Al-Natsheh Visits An-Najah University and Signs Agreement to Support Jerusalemite Students
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, His Excellency Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of An-Najah National University’s Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University Hospital, received Major General Bilal Al-Natsheh, Secretary-General of the Permanent Qatari Committee for Supporting Jerusalem, as part of efforts to strengthen national partnerships and support the academic sector.
Prof. Hamdallah welcomed Major General Al-Natsheh and his accompanying delegation, emphasizing the importance of national cooperation in supporting educational institutions and uniting efforts to address sector challenges. Major General Al-Natsheh expressed pride in the partnership with An-Najah University, praising its global rankings and its comprehensive educational and entrepreneurial environment.
During the visit, Dr. Abdulsalam AlKaiyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs, signed a cooperation agreement with the Committee to enhance the educational and cultural sectors and support Jerusalemite students. The signing was attended by Mr. Raed Debiy, President's Assistant for Community Affairs. and Mr. Rashid Al-Kukhun, Director of the Financial Department.
The visit also included a tour of An-Najah’s Innovation Park (INNOPARK), a leading initiative aimed at fostering creativity, promoting innovation and research, and supporting outstanding youth projects.
This partnership reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to building sustainable, strategic relationships that serve the community.
