An-Najah National University and St. Joseph’s School Nablus Discuss Prospects for Academic and Professional Collaboration
An-Najah National University welcomed a delegation from St. Joseph’s School in Nablus on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to explore opportunities for academic and professional collaboration and strengthen institutional partnerships.
The visiting delegation included Fr. Miguel Perez Jimenez, Parish Priest in Nablus; Ms. Dina Dawani, School Principal; Ms. Sanaa Abu Zant, Educational Counselor; Mr. Mo’men Hassan, Arabic Language Teacher; and Dr. Asaad Taffal, representing the Parents' Council.
Representing An-Najah University were Dr. Abdulsalam Khayyat, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Maen Ishtaiwi, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs—Scientific Faculties; Mr. Ahmad Sarghali, Advisor to the President for Public Relations and Marketing Communications; and Mr. Mohammad Murshid, Schools Liaison Coordinator.
Dr. Khayyat welcomed the delegation and highlighted the significance of fostering partnerships with educational institutions in Nablus. He provided an overview of the university’s academic programs and extracurricular activities, emphasizing opportunities for student and teacher training, knowledge-sharing, and professional development.
Ms. Dawani expressed her appreciation for the visit and commended An-Najah’s academic excellence both locally and internationally. She reaffirmed the school’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with the university to enhance educational practices and empower students to achieve their full potential.
Discussions focused on organizing campus visits for St. Joseph’s students, promoting joint research and cultural initiatives, and developing innovative pathways for academic and professional collaboration.
