Dr. Asmaa Nayfeh Represents An-Najah National University as a Jury Member at the 25th Creativity Forum in Kurdistan, Iraq
With the participation of distinguished academics and experts across various scientific disciplines, Dr. Asmaa Nayfeh from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at An-Najah National University contributed as a jury member at the 25th Student Creativity Forum. Organized by the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity (ASCTI) under the theme "Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Scientific Research," the forum was held from November 3–7, 2024, hosted by the Universities of Salahaddin and Chic in Kurdistan, Iraq.
Dr. Nayfeh played a pivotal role in the forum, serving on the jury for two sessions dedicated to scientific creativity and innovation. These sessions featured prominent specialists and senior academic leaders, including university presidents, vice presidents, and deans from across the Arab world. The forum showcased 50 research papers representing 26 universities from 8 Arab countries: Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Palestine, Oman, Morocco, Iraq, and the UAE.
Dr. Fawaz Al-Zaghloul, Director of ASCTI, lauded Dr. Nayfeh’s outstanding contributions and her significant role in ensuring the forum’s success. He also highlighted the enduring partnership between ASCTI and An-Najah National University, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and creativity among Arab students.
The Student Creativity Forum is an annual event hosted in collaboration with a leading Arab university. Each year, it focuses on a theme of critical relevance to the Arab world, aligning with the region’s educational and societal priorities. The forum celebrates student achievements through rigorous project evaluations, awarding financial prizes to winners, thereby promoting a spirit of healthy competition and inspiring creativity among participants.
