Prof. Tamer Khatib of An-Najah Appointed Associate Editor for Two Leading International Journals in Energy and Electrical Engineering
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to research and innovation in the field of energy and electrical engineering, Prof. Tamer Khatib, a Professor of Renewable Energy at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at An-Najah National University, has been appointed Associate Editor for two esteemed international journals.
Prof. Khatib will serve as Associate Editor for e-Prime: Advances in Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Energy, published by the global leader Elsevier, which boasts a CiteScore of 2.1. Additionally, he will hold the same position at Energy Exploration & Exploitation, published by Sage, another internationally renowned publishing house, with an impact factor of 1.9.
The role of Associate Editor is one of the most prestigious positions within the editorial boards of international journals. It involves overseeing the peer-review process, assessing scientific papers, and making recommendations to the chief editor. This responsibility is typically entrusted to senior researchers of global standing in their respective fields.
In addition to these editorial appointments, Elsevier has invited Prof. Khatib to author a scientific book on photovoltaic systems engineering, drawing from his extensive expertise. This upcoming book, set for publication in mid-2025, will be his third on the subject and is anticipated to provide practical, engineering-based insights into photovoltaic systems.
