An-Najah National University, represented by Prof. Allam Mousa, Director of An-Najah Virtual Augmented Reality Center (NVAR), participated in "EON Experience Fest", which was held in Portugal at the Convento do Espinheiro on June 23-24, 2022.

Over the two-day event, EON Reality's new Knowledge Metaverse plans were unveiled and high-level strategies and tactics for the future that users can take home were shared. It featured a number of updates, demonstrations and discussions about EON Reality’s offerings.

The event was attended by key leaders, executives and changemakers from around the world, and many of them shared their ideas and leading interactive discussions and experiences.

During the event, EON Reality, Inc. (“EON Reality”), a global leader in Virtual and Augmented Reality (“XR”) and Knowledge Metaverse industry and education solutions, announced a new product within its platform, the EON Metaverse Builder.

The EON Metaverse Builder is a solution designed to be used easily by users to create virtual laboratories, classrooms, museums, factories, parks, archaeological sites with multiple 3D objects, each featuring a full slate of activities, knowledge portals, assessments and more.

Prof. Mousa gave a presentation about the University experience in establishing An-Najah Virtual Augmented Reality Center. He talked about NVAR’s vision and mission that include the development of society and employee skill development that helps workers improve their knowledge, job satisfaction, and workplace performance in the industrial and service sectors.

He added: “This could be done by the use of Metaverse World and Virtual Reality technologies and by providing a suitable environment for teachers and students in the same fields as well.”

For nearly a year and a half, the University in partnership with EON Reality, established a specialized center within the same field which makes An-Najah among the pioneers in working in the field of virtual world internationally.

It is worth mentioning that NVAR has trained dozens of teachers and hundreds of university students on using 3D technology and virtual reality to enable them to learn faster, retain information longer, and make better decisions in their future career path. In addition, the mother institution has, indeed, given certifications to its trainees; the ‘Educator Certificate’ for tens of university teachers and ‘Starter Certificate’ to its students.

Furthermore, in the past year, hundreds of lessons were prepared through the use of 3D and Virtual Reality technologies.
